Kapia Optics was established in 1989 to provide primary eye health care and improve the eye vision. This business has developed well and is expanding successfully. It has six branches now; in Oshakati, Ondangwa, Grootfontein, Walvis Bay, Rundu and Swakopmund. Kapia Optics envisages an expansion of its branch network to major towns in the North and Central areas of the country and further beyond the borders.

Eye Testing

A standard eye chart. Cover test to check eye alignment. Slit lamp exam of the front of the eye. Glaucoma test. Exam of retina after pupil dilation.

Fundoscopy

Fundoscopy is part of a routine eye examination, which enables the evaluation of retinal symptoms and detects many conditions such as retinal detachment, retinal, diseases of the optic nerve, like glaucoma, and inflammations.

Ocular Pressure Test

Measuring your eye pressure is an important part of a comprehensive eye examination. If your eye pressure becomes higher than normal, you may be at risk for developing eye diseases such as glaucoma.

Cutting and Fitting

We provide cutting for eye lenses to fit into your frames

Lenses

Biforcal lenses- to combine vision correctness for short-sightedness and far-sightedness. Polarized lenses- reduce glare reflected off surfaces. Available for non-prescription and prescription. UV protection lenses- protects the eyes from ultra-violet rays

Eye Glasses
